About “Old Thoughts”
This blog is an effort to understand and present the science and astronomy that is contained in our Scriptures (Vedas, Itihasas and Puranas).
Many Puranic stories particularly those that are connected to Siva, have an astronomical basis, as well as a historical and spiritual basis. This site is an effort to share that knowledge as it reveals itself to my mind.
Before I started the Existence Page on WordPress, I had another blog which was about many different things. I have collected all the topics that are related to “Time” and “Stars” from that blog and reposted them here.
I am now in the process of merging Oldthoughts with AncientIndians.
