Hells are terrible places and there are several such narakas.
The names of some such hells are
- Tapana,
- Valukakumbha,
- Rourava,
- Maharourava,
- Kum-bhipaka,
- Nirucchvasa,
- Kalasutra,
- Pramar-dana,
- Bhishana,
- Asipatravana,
- Lalabhakshya,
- Himothkata,
- Mrishavastha,
- Vasakupa,
- Shvabha-kshya,
- Mutrapana,
- Purishahrada,
- Taptashula,
- Taptashila,
- Shalmali-druma,
- Shonitakupa and
- Shonitabhojana.”
